I get many requests about my photos for various uses. I currently have a strict policy of never giving away any photos for any purpose without proper payment. This includes all birding magazines, publications, books, web based uses and presentations. My only exception is if the image is being used in a not-for profit environment, only then will I consider waiving any fees.

Although only a hobby, bird photography is time consuming and also very expensive. Giving away photos devalues my work and that of other hard working Bird & Wildlife Photographers.
